In case you do not know, I am taking a photography workshop in our parish in which I am the only student whose attending. I have a lot of assignments. I have to do portraiture, product shots, food photography, still life, motion photography, etc. My teacher already chose some of the shots I made. I guess I will be having my solo exhibit since my other classmates are not attending anymore.
Shopping Without Me
They went shopping without me. Aww... too bad for me. But hey, I have "pasalubong" from them. Mom bought me a couple of shirts.
Orientation of the CHV
We had an orientation for the newly-recruited members of the College and High School Volunteers. It is good to see some new faces in our organization. I just hope that they will be active even during schooldays since I may not get to be that active anymore for we will be having our thesis already.
Days With the Lord
My classmate during the Elementary years has just recruited me to be part of the Days With the Lord. Actually, I was really interested to join the group even before I was recruited. I guess that was when I was still in my freshman year at La Salle. A Scholastican told me that she was a Dayzer and she was telling stories about her experience.
Me and some of my friends in the Parish watched Spiderman with our Parish Priest. Toby Maguire plays Peter Parker (A.K.A. Spiderman). The effects was so thrilling, especially when he moved from building to building just using his web. There are also some comical events that made us all laughing. There is a line from the movie that struck me, "With great power comes great responsibility." I guess you know what does the line means.
I already finished making the CD for Julien. It was me and the other volunteers were able to listen to the CD first. Nico showed up after one day of being "slammed" by the Slammer. And the first word he said, "Sorry". He told me that word for the nth time already. At last, my brother was able to buy the CD writer for Mom's PC. We went to an area mass with our Parish Priest. Instantly, I became part of the mini choir. It's good that our guitarist knows the songs that most of us can sing. After the mass, we had dinner. Then, one of our companions cracked a joke: A child was tripped off and cried and the lady (probably her mother) said to her... "I told you not to go at you go to look at". Translating it literally in Filipino... "Sinabi nang wag pumunta, pumunta pa, tignan mo." We all laughed our hearts out with that joke.
Memoirs of a Geisha
It is a novel by Arthur Golden and it's an international bestseller. I have already read the first two chapters. I just wish I could finish it real soon.
Me and my friends have acquired VIP tickets to the Pulp Summer Slam 2 at the Fort. We arrived there yesterday by 8pm. I've met Basti Artadi, Wolf and Manuel Legarda of Wolfgang. And of course, I was able to shook hands with Basti and have his autograph signed. I was also able to meet Michael Turner of Battery and Jett Pangan. I was also able to meet the Parokya ni Edgard band members except for their bassist and the ever famous Chito. We had picture taking with Kakoy of Rivermaya. Kakoy seems to be camera shy but his guy friends were game for the picture taking.
Okay... post edited. My sister just stumbled upon my site and I do not like that idea. If you're really curious what's with the post, just give me your email adds and I'd be glad to tell the story to you if you're interested.
