I met a new friend from the neighborhood just this morning. I was on my way to school and waiting for a damn vacant tricycle. Luckily, my neighbor, just across our street, happened to see me. They called my attention and asked if I was going to school. Of course I said yes and I had a free ride going to La Salle. Yipee! I have saved 40 pesos. I was even dropped in front of the Engineering Gate. When I was about to go home, I saw Michelle (my neighbor) in the van (popularly known as the 'colorum'). We chatted there while waiting for the van to be fully occupied.
The nationwide Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections will be set on Monday and Tuesday (July 15-16). Campaign materials are found everywhere may it be posters, streamers, and their very own campaign jingles. When I was on my way to school, I heard the campaign jingle of one candidate in Makati. Guess what's the song. It's Idol Ko Si Kap!!! Hehehe! I was laughing to myself when I heard it. In our barangay, even some of the SK candidates have put their posters along Doña Soledad Avenue. The nerve of those SK candidates. Don't they know that they should not put up those campaign materials.
The bad weather has struck the Philippines especially The Metro another costly damages. Potholes all over Metro Manila, trees that fell on the road, and even billboards as well. MMDA was assigned to take care of controlling of the flood which means a sum of money is needed. As an added bonus to that, someone got caught by a landslide in the form of garbage at San Mateo, Rizal (near the landfill area) and at Pampanga. Let's just pray that their will be improvements in the following days to come.
