*Sigh*...

At last, my doomed FLUMENG days are over. Of course, I'm not doomed anymore. Yipee! All I have to do is to concentrate on my other subjects wherein I have to finish some typing job. I really hate typing jobs especially if I'm typing that does not belong to my list of interests.
Tomorrow, I have to come back to school to take that LEGO Mindstorms challenge. It's actually an on-the-spot practical exam which is equivalent to one machine project.

Mission Impossible 2: Successful

Alright! I have passed the enormous test. MI-2 is successful. And I thinks it is a record-breaking one. In-depth planning and strategy was done to make all things possible.

SME Annual Conference

We had our SME Annual Conference at the Philippine Social Development at Intramuros, Manila. We represented the DLSU Chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. We had games, talks, annual reports done by the Chairpersons from different schools and other intermission numbers. Our group won the first game. We received bracelets (beads) as our prizes. Beyond that, I was one of the representatives of our student chapter to join the essay writing contest and our theme was, "SME Creating Marks on Society". Yipee! I won third place. I have joined essay writing contests before in High School and it is just now that I won. Time pressure really hit us since we were supposed to write the essay within 35 minutes. Geesh! But it was really fun attending the conference since I get to meet new people and it was also a form of taking a break from the usual day-to-day activities.

SME Acquaintance Party

Last night, the SME Acquaintance Party at Cafe All Day - El Pueblo in Ortigas. The party was sponsored by Tequila Joe's. Batch presentations from 3rd, 4th, and 5th year were performed. All were acoustic versions of some song. But I guess that the 5th year students done a great job because they performed a medley with powerful voicing. They were really good. There was also a game. It was SME's version of Winner Take All. The winner was from the 5th year. I forgot his name. The representatives from the faculty of the said game were Sir Pius and Sir Oscar aka Abu Sabaya. Meanwhile, the winner of the Mr. and Ms. Acquaintance Party were the guy from the juniors and Cheena Abellar from the seniors.
