We had a great time in our speech class. One of our classmates delivered an imprompt speech. He was really good. His introduction was good, he has a nice voice projection, he has proper hand gestures too. Suddenly, in the middle of the speech, he opened a small yellow paper stuck to his hand which caused a commotion in the classroom, he said, "Miss, notes lang". We all laughed our hearts out. I even didn't expect him to do that since no one in class did it but him. As he ended his speech, there was a standing ovation. I'm very sure or professor will never ever forget him. As for my impromptu speech, yipee, I did good enough. She said that I have delivered a good introduction and that my speech has content as well. I don't even know how I did to speak spontaneously though I think it's evident that I was nervous at that time plus the fact that I have cough which gave me a hard time smiling. All I have to do next is to prepare for the next speech. Geesh!
Checking Mail...
I was just checking my email and as I read through with a subject headed as "Celebrity Bloopers". Without hesitation, I decided to read it. I was laughing here in front of the computer while reading it. This one really caught my attention: Alma: Huwag kang pumunta dun sa malayo at malapit na tayong umorder. Vandolph: (takbo ng takbo tapos nadulas) Wahhhh!!! Alma: You see, you see (Tignan mo, tignan mo). I said don't go there, but you go still. (Sabi sa iyong huwag kang pumunta dun, pero pumunta ka pa rin). (Sabay kurot kay Vandolph) Vandolph: Arayyyyy!!!! Alma: O what, you gonna repeat it again? (O ano, uulitin mo pa ba?) I'm not just just, change me! (Hindi ako basta basta, iba ako eh!)
Here is another incident like the one that of above: Alma: I told you not to go to, but you go to! Look at!
I just could not wait for our speech class to finish for the mere fact that it was raining cats and dogs and the thunders keep on roaring. I was really unluck for not being able to bring the parka jacket. Right after the teacher dismissed the class, I directly went off to the colorum. As I got outside the gate near the Conservatory, I faced the rain with a simple jacket and of course the guts to keep running until I reached the University Mall. I went impatient when two guys in front of me are walking real slow. Sure, they do have an umbrella with them but that does give them the license to indirectly cause harm to me since I was already soaking wet. As soon as I reached KFC, I looked like as if I have just taken a bath with my clothes on. Geesh!
