The First Week of Classes Chronicles

January 6, that was our first day of classes. and guess what, we just spent a few minutes there taking our attendance and having some "kwentuhan blues" with our professor Maam Karen. Also, I'm glad that I never transferred to EG2. Hehe!
January 7 came and our first subject for that day is HUBEHOR. The teacher comes from the IE Department and he is Mr. Atienza. He seems to be a responsible teacher for he provided things that are needed. The only catch here is that we have to photocopy the 100-page manual and the other papers. For 1 and a half hour, he just talked about the requirements and everything on the course syllabus. After HUBEHOR comes RELSFOR, and our teacher is Mr. Sembrano. He's got loads of stories and as well as jokes although some are corny. Then, break time, then, MANTECH. Our teacher in MANTECH could already be our very own grandfather. He has gray hair and already balding. One thing I could say is that, he's boring and I feel sleepy in his class.
Since I don't have classes on Wednesday, I'll jump to Thursday. Basically, it's almost the same for HUBEHOR and RELSFOR and MANTECH. For our FINELEC and FINELAB subjects, our teacher is Mr. Co. As usual, he's late and he didn't bother coming in at our lab class.
Friday, the last school day for the week. Our teacher in CAELEC3 is Mr. Cabibihan and we only met for 10 minutes after discussing the requirements to us. And our teacher for MFGSYSM would be Mr. Unas and I want to be transferred to the other section because their teacher is Maam Karen.

Recommended

You must have heard of Stephen Speaks' Passenger Seat on the radio. Their song may be hitting the radio waves in the Philippines but, did you know that Stephen Speaks is an Indie band in the US? Well, their other songs are great too, and these are Out of My League, Song for a Dancer, Complete... etc. These are some of their songs. I find their songs very soothing and you'll feel high while listening to it.
Also, have you heard of Matt Ryczek? If you haven't heard of him, I suggest you download his song Goodbye at Kazaa. Great voice, great guitars... the song is really nice.

L.E.A.P.

I have just enrolled myself to the Basics of Adobe Photoshop for our LEAP. The enlistment is from January 9 to 14. I really wanted to enrol myself in Creative Writing but the time slot sucks big time. I hope that I would learn some basics that I myself don't know even if I have used it for quite sometime.

70s Bistro

Last night, it was my first time to watch a gig at 70s Bistro. The bands that performed were Itchyworms and Session Road. I went there with my Dad since he would not let me travel alone from Parañaque to Anonas by just commuting. We arrived there at 9pm and of course, the show has not started. The Itchyworms were already there setting up their equipment. But, Jazz was not there yet. After 15 minutes or so, my friend that I met from the Imago mailing list, Zarah, arrived. Zarah, and I joined the Itchyworms in their respective tables. Hehe! I was introduced to them. They started at around 10pm and my idea of fun is just beginning. Annette Ortiz of the Fatal Posporos also sat with us. Zarah and Annette ordered Picha ng Parokya, and Annette offered me to eat some. Hehe! It was really nice of her. After the Itchyworms performed, the Session Road set-up their instruments. I even got the chance to arbor the picks of Chino Singson and Jugs Jugueta. After a song played by the Session Road, Zarah and I went outside. Outside, I was introduced to Vin Dancel of Twisted Halo and Raimund "Raims" Marasigan of the Eraserheads and other bands. After a few minutes of hanging out with them, me and my Dad are about to go home... and that ends the story. Hehe!

Tape Recorder, etc.

After my class in RELSFOR, I immediately headed to Starbucks to meet Yey to lend the tape recorder that she needed. Ja was also there and thus, became a mini-EB of the Imago mailing list. After a few minutes of kulitan blues and the grumbling of my stomach signaling that it's time to eat, we headed to McDonalds.
As we ate there, I have discovered that it is such a small world for I have met someone who knows my former classmate since they go to the same school. Also, I have learned from Yey that Ivan and family are their family friend.
After eating at McDo, we headed outside for the typical yow break. Then , we saw Anj, who is also an Imago Lister. I also met Yam who is also an Imago lister.
The moment I came back to the class Mark said, "Kilala mo pala si Anj." Anj is a member of the Malate Literary Folio and as well as Mark. I haven't notice that Mark was with Anj's group when we saw her.
It's really a small world after all... uuyyy... kanta yun ah... hehehe!

To the LoTR Fans

I have come across this webpage through my High School friend Cha. I guarantee that you'll be laughing your hearts out as you read this.
