We went to Malate last Wednesday night with my friends Ronald, Allen and Allen's friend. Actually, I do not really want to go out again but I just have to go with them since they will be going with me later at the Sanctum gig of Imago. The place was nice and it was owned by Allen's friend. We ordered Baga, Nachos, and Isaw. The three of them ordered beer but I don't want to drink anything alcoholic especially during weekdays.
Lord of the Rings: Two Towers
I watched LoTR at Greenbelt 1 with my High School buddy. We were supposed to watch the film at Greenbelt 3 but unfortunately, all seats were taken for the earlier screenings. Watching LoTR is truly one cinematic experience. The battle scenes are very realistic and I am very much impressed with the graphics used. Likewise, Gollum's series of statements are very memorable. One of the funny moments of LoTR Two Towers is when Gollum was having like a split personality. Hehehe! Beyond that, Legolas is still the cutest elf!
Me, my dad and his officemates went to the 70s Bistro last night to watch Imago and E-heads perform. We arrived their so early that if there are Early Bird Awards given, we will surely be the champion. We ate appetizers first like cheese sticks and hotdog with onions. After waiting for my dad's other officemates, we ordered for the main course. I ate stir-friend tenderloin while the rest of them ate lengua and spare ribs. I don't like the taste os the stir-fried tenderloin, maybe it was just oily. TO be updated later.... hehehe...
Karla, your unconscious mind is driven most by Imagination This means you have a deep desire to use innovative ideas to enhance your life and influence the world around you. This drive influences you far more than you may realize on a conscious level. Your need to be innovative drives how you look at new opportunities and the kinds of experiences in life you choose to have. On an unconscious level, the reason you may be so driven by imagination is your fear of destruction, the opposite of creation. When you are unable to create due to restrictions imposed by your environment or even ones you unwittingly impose on yourself, do you feel trapped or confined? You may find these feelings of unease only get better when you find another outlet for your imagination. With such a strong creative orientation, you are willing to entertain a broad spectrum of ideas at any given time. The world is a fuller, richer place because you can contribute new ideas to any experience. Your natural curiosity inspires those around you and encourages them to come up with ideas they wouldn't have thought of without your help. Though your unconscious mind is driven most strongly by Imagination, there is much more to who you are at your core.
Me, Rondz, Jenny, Allen and Alma we're playing pusoy at Rondz's dorm (he's my High School buddy). Jenny and Allen were the so-called "talunan of the game". Alma is the reigning Queen of Pusoy Dos and she lost twice and that was during the last part. Rondz, although has losses too has been always the 1st placer or the 2nd placer. I won 1st place during the 1st game only. Hehe! After the Pusoy Dos Mania, we went downstairs. Alma and Jenny went back to their dorm while Allen and Rondz went back to La Salle to go to the DLSAA office. I went to Dominga Street to take a jeep until Buendia and get a bus there on the way to Glorietta. Geesh... I guess I'll be waiting for a long time before getting my hands on an Alumni Card.
Glorietta
I went to Goldcrest and looking for some useful stuff there and as usual, I found nothing. So I went to National Bookstore and I texted my friend Trixy that I was in Makati and we met at the National Bookstore. At the NBS, I bought Danton Remoto's Gaydar which is a collection of his essays. My friend Trixy bought a greeting card for her boyfriend coz it's his birthday tomorrow. She bought the corniest greeting card she saw and she really intended that. I saw a Guide to Tolkien book and I really wanted to buy that book but it's not in my budget list so I have to wait until next time. I also wanted to buy Sun Tzu's Art of War but it's still not in my budget list. The one that I should be buying is Father Gorospe's The Filipino Conscience which will be used in our RELSFOR class. Unfortunately, there is no stock. Oh well... that happens.
Last night I went to KAFE with my brother, Jean and Claude. By the time we arrived there, Deltajoy (Owel's band) is already performing. At least I got to hear them perform even if we were late. My former classmate in High School, Dan of Kiko Machine (bassist and who's always wearing Spiderman costume during their gigs), was there too. They performed and they were great. The other bands that performed were Monkeyspank, Rampqueen, Stuck in Traffic, Dead Kid Songs, Corned Beef, Spongecola, Boy Elroy, Drunkenmaster, Frigidwarp, Game Ain't Over. Imago was supposed to be the last band to perform but due to certain unexpected circumstances, they performed earlier. I would like to thank the whole Imago, Aia, Zach, Arvin and Tim for signing my CD. You're the best guys! :)
