Thursday was really a hectic day for me. Imagine, having a class at 940am and having a 40min break starting at 2pm. Geesh. Plus, my class ends at 730pm. I got home at around 9pm. And one more thing, I also have to make my assignments for the next day before I could fully recharge my energies.
A Long Deep Sleep
When I arrived home yesterday, I didn't bother eating dinner. I just went straight to bed to get some needed sleep. I didn't even got to change my clothes. Then, I woke up at 3am and changed my clothes. Eventually, feeling it was a little to early to start whacking the computer keyboard, I just slept and woke up at 630am. By that time, I was really hungry so I ate my breakfast. Afterwards, I proceeded checking e-mail and did my assignments for HUBEHOR and MANTECH. Afterwards, I updated the Midnightcoutdown Charts after two months hiatus.
Having participated in the P&G Recruitment has been the highlight of my activities this week. I arrived there at 830am, we were provided with name tags. Suddenly, they announced the program flow, and we were all aghast by the fact that the last part would be the General Problem Solving Test (GPST) which is the standardized exam for all those who wish to start a career at P&G. I enjoyed the talks most especially about their compensation package! Haha! In addition to that, there were Trivia Games about P&G products where most of us are already familiar with. We also had the chance to tour the 21st floor of 6750. We got to see their working environment. In addition to that, we saw their high-tech conference rooms and lounges. After which, we had our lunch and it was all for free. After lunch was a series of talks again and finally... exam time came. We were all nervous for the exam. I made a lot of wild guesses for the actual length of the test is 65 minutes and there are 50 items.
Powerbooks
After the exam at P&G, I went straight to Powerbooks looking for some good buys. Then, I saw at the cashier that you could already reserve the Harry Potter Book 5: The Order of the Phoenix. I already made a reservation. Afterwards, I saw the book Kurt Cobain Journals. I had the chance to take a look at it and it contains the replica from Kurt Cobain's journal. I found some drawings there and some chords there. The price of the book is really expensive and it's around 900+ pesos.
Me, Pattoys and Don arrived at Anonas around 7pm. They accompanied me first to McDonalds since I was really hungry. After some chikahan, we went to Freedom Bar which is actually right across the street. CDs we're already being sold outside for 250 bucks and of course you'll get a free poster with it. I immediately bought one. Then, we saw Zarah and had some little kamustahan. Then, we went inside and looked for a place to sit down. We sat down for a while then Myk (another lister) came in with some of his friends. After a few more minutes, Owel and his brother Joey arrived. Afterwards, we had our CD signed by Ebe, Jal and Mitch. It was really nice of them to sign my CD. Of course, they also invited me to join the Sugar Free Mailing List. I also encourage the readers of my journal to join too.
