Observing the Traffic at West Service Road and Sun Valley Drive Junction is totally a waste. Geesh. It was the most boring thing that a person would ever do. Imagine, waiting for the vehicles to go or stop and record the corresponding time. Also, I was even annoyed by a 10 or 12 wheeler truck that beeped so long. Geesh.
Sugar Free at Tower Records G3, Yesterday
After the boring job for that wretched case study, I went to Glorietta to watch Sugar Free again. Hehe! The moment I arrived there, I have seen a lot of familiar faces. I've seen Ja, Trish, Yam, Yey, Pooj of Lokopyl, Ayi (my High School batchmate). Once again, they do not have any set list. Then, Mitch was late.
Grabeh EB at Gerry's Grill-Park Square
Gerry's Grill-- House Specialty-- Sisig! It's been a long time since I ate at Gerry's. Last night, I ate dinner there with the Grabeh peeps composed of the Rebelde Oldies and of course... the Grabeh Originals. I met new people there like Gunman, souls_river, ink_wirer (the friend of my cousin Nina).
After consulting with our thesis adviser, I immediately walked out of campus to catch a bus. Ai said that the gig will start at 5pm. I arrived at Tower Records 6pm. I thought that the gig was already over. But no, it was just about to start. Inside, I saw KC of Lokopyl and Grace (a very good photographer and the manager of Lokopyl). During the gig, there was this one guy from the audience who requested for Burnout twice already. In the second time he requested it, Ebe said "Penge naman ng tinira mo tsong". Haha! Me and Grace are really laughing out loud because of that scenario. I hanged out with them after the gig.
Last Friday, I was able to catch A Murder of Crows and PAN at Hobbit House, Malate. I arrived there 10 minutes before 8pm because I thought the show will start at 8pm. I was surprised to find out that A Murder of Crows was doing the soundcheck so I got to hear the songs twice. Hehe! Louie Talan of Razorback played the bass for them. After AMOC's set, I joined the Beer Drinking Contest. Of course I did not won coz I do not drink beer like water. After which, PAN performed. It was an energetic performance by Dong Abay. After their set, I asked Dong Abay to sign my CD. Hehe! PAN rocks!
