Mara's Birthday Party

I just came from Mara's 18th Birthday Party. The Imago listers that were present are Yey, Zarah, Owel and Joey. Her godfather is really a good jazz singer and has really got the talent. The bands that played are Chrome 8, Tintasa, Sleep Mr. Musicman and Imago. I forgot the name of the first band who played but their genre is electronica and they are really great.
I was surprised by the souvenir since it was very unique and would really remind you of the musical side of Mara. The souvenir is an egg shaker which is the first percussion instrument she played.
Mara's band, Sleep Mr. Musicman is really great. Aside from playing the drums, Mara also played cajon that night.

Unexpectedly...

Last night, I watched the gig of A Murder of Crows and Kapatid at 70s Bistro. Well, I know that AMOC has a gig that night. I was surprised to learn that Kapatid would be playing there too. I was so excited to hear them live again, and of course, to hear and watch them play a full set for the first time.
Natan Azarcon remembered me and it was so funny that he called me by my whole name. Hehe!

Aia's Birthday Bash

Last night at Big Sky Mind was Aia de Leon's birthday bash. Only two bands played namely, Fatal Posporos and Imago. Jason Caballa of Twisted Halo jammed with the Fatal Posporos. Imago had a very interesting set, this is because that this is the first time that I've ever experienced that Aia didn't change guitars like she would always do. Before Imago's set, Tado did a simple song number using Aia's guitar and we were all laughing our hearts out. Hehe!
There were a lot of Imago listers there like Mara, Zarah, Yey, Ja, Yam, Xavier, Meme, Par, Eileen, Mon, Deng, Rhoda, Ron and Christian. To those I have not mentioned, I guess I have not met you yet. Hehe!
There was a big issue raised last night. Tim's belly button has a remarkably high position. Echo (of the band Boldstar!), Tim (lead guitarist of Imago) and Jon (tech of Imago, bassist of Jumbolilith) were suddenly comparing the position of their belly buttons in one corner. Hehe! Then, the others started calling Tim as... "Tim 'taas-pusod' Cacho"... hehehe!
Also, I was given the rare chance to taste the intriguing Apple Lambanog. It sure tastes apple but it really gives you the hits.
