Cambio EP

I finally got myself a Cambio EP. Me and my friend Anj met up with Diego Mapa of Cambio, Monsterbot, Eggboy at McDo-La Salle. After that, I went straight ahead to the office and me and my officemates were listening to the CD. Wow, it's really worth the buy. I love the DV Remixes! Hehe!

Burnout VCD

Wahoo! I just borrowed a copy of the MTV of Burnout in VCD format. They say that the ones being shown in Myx are different from that of the CD. I still have not watched the MTV yet on TV since I don't have much time for TV.

Working on a Holiday

Yes, I did come to the office to work even it's a holiday. And as for me, I think it was needed for me to go to work to be able to finish the project on time. Well, this is the first taste of going to work on a holiday and right now, I know how my brother feels everytime he goes to work when everyone else are just going to the mall or doing other recreational activities.

Harry Potter 5: The Order of the Phoenix

Finally, I got a copy of the much awaited book. I have yet to read it. Hehe! Reservation works after all.
Two English speaking guys have even assisted me while the Customer Service person was busy talking to someone on the phone. Hehe. The other guy, asked my name and he looked for it on the sheet of paper contaning the names of those who have reserved the book. That was really nice of them. Hehe!

Fete de la Musique 2003

One Voice... One World.. A night of one incredible music. Yes, that's Fete de la Musique for you. It was my first time to go there. I was supposed to be at last year's Fete but the rain kept me from going there. This year's Fete was held at El Pueblo Real de Manila at Ortigas. Greyhoundz rocked Ortigas at 4pm but I was not there at that time yet. The only bands that I was able to catch
are Mayonnaise, Fatal Posporos, Moonstar88, Kapatid, Twisted Halo, Indio I, Cynthia Alexander, Parokya ni Edgar, Rivermaya, and Razorback. I was also able to watch Mark Escueta jam with other Kahonistas and other percussionists.
I was totally awed at Kapatid's set even though it is not a full set just like I have seen them in the 70s Bistro. A lot of people have been dancing to the sound of the funk and their music makes me high. Indio I is an exceptional Reggae band. They were really great. They did a cover song of Bob Marley. Me and my friend Mara keep dancing to the beat. Cynthia Alexander is indeed a Goddess of World Music. They did a cover of Kula Shaker's Govinda and it was totally awesome. She also sang Intertwine that is one of my favorite songs by Cynthia Alexander. During her set, there were a couple of ladies doing some kind of interpretative, ethnic-like dance. As with Parokya ni Edgar, he indeed rocked El Pueblo. He stood on a much elevated portion singing their songs and the crowd continued to mosh. I even saw a group of guys who made their own mosh pit just right in front of Chateau 1771. Chito Miranda has this different kind of charisma with the crowd such that the crowd will sing along with him. As for Rivermaya, they sang some songs from the ancient Rivermaya album and the crowd, including me kept on singing along with them. Awit ng Kabataan is one of my favorite songs by Rivermaya and I love it for it is indeed the song of the youth, the song of my generation. Razorback's set is indeed great. The band has just released their fourth album and I still don't have a copy yet.
See how music could unite people of all ages and walks of life. Yes, that's Fete de la Musique, one unforgettable night indeed.
