Itchyworms Video Launch

I went last night to Itchyworm's Video Launch at Millenia Bar in Kamuning. The music video is for their most recent single "Buwan" which is currently the number one song at the Midnight Countdown of NU107. The bands that played last night with the Itchyworms are A Murder of Crows, Narda, and Sugar Free. Other two Itchyworms video were shown too aside from "Buwan", which is the main reason why everyone was at Millenia. I won a T-shirt last night.. haha.. thanks to Trici!

Maling Bintang

Walang iwanan Kapitan.

Remembering September 21, 1972

Imagine if online blogging was made possible by the tech lords during the year of 1972. By the way, do you remember what happened during the 21st of September, 1972? If not, let me just remind you that former President Marcos declared Martial Law. But what would rather scare us the most is that we were part of a democratic country which practices press freedom. And on September 22, 1972, the dreaded thing just happened. It was reported that soldiers were seen in the streets and groups of them were going to newspaper, radio, and TV offices and telling all the employees to go home. And on September 23, 1972, there were no newspapers to be found, no radio and TV broadcasts except for the government's TV station. If online blogging was made possible that time, maybe, the military would ask the high tech people just to prevent the Filipinos from accessing web content and also from online blogging which is also a form of freedom of expression. As online bloggers, let us protect are freedom of expression and also, we must remember to practice it responsibly.
