RX Band Breakout Semis @ Suburbia

Last Thursday was the RX Band Breakout Semis at Suburbia, Malate. Five bands were included in the second leg and those are Silent Sanctuary, KJWAN, Luna, Little Spacey, and Bay Six. Silent Sanctuary has indeed performed well, as what I've read in the September MTV Ink Issue, their music is classified as chamber rock because of the presence of the strings section and those instruments are cello, viola and violin. They performed one original composition while the other two songs are covers. Their original composition was entitled "Kahapon" and they did covers of Goo Goo Dolls' Black Balloon and the very anthemic Iris. Listening to Silent Sanctuary makes me feel high. KJWAN has also done a great performance. The other bands were great too. Thanks to Silent Sanctuary for the invite. Hehe!
